Matt has worked in a variety of legal fields. He utilizes his past experience as an insurance defense lawyer to improve his personal injury practice. His insight has proven invaluable time and again: Knowing what defense lawyers look for, Matt is able to build strong, comprehensive cases for the victims of negligence.
Matt started his career as a middle school teacher. He then decided to pursue a career in law. Having grown up in West Michigan, he decided to attend the Michigan State University College of Law to earn his J.D. After graduation, he moved down to Kansas City, where he has stayed ever since.
Outside the office, Matt loves to run, play basketball and golf, and spend time with his family, friends, and dogs. He also coaches youth basketball.
