Addison Haynes brings energy, empathy, and determination to her work as an attorney. Originally pursuing a science background, her path to law was an unexpected one, sparked during the COVID-19 pandemic when shifting coursework led her to a law clerk position in Lawrence, Kansas. From her first day in the legal field, she knew she had found her calling.
During law school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Addison honed her advocacy skills as a member of the mock trial team, ultimately winning the National Military Trial Competition in her final semester. Standing before the judge during that competition was a defining moment for her, one where she felt her most confident and authentic. That experience continues to fuel her drive to advocate on behalf of her clients.
Addison approaches every case as an opportunity to learn and grow, whether it mirrors one she has handled before or presents something entirely new. She grounds her practice in empathy, drawing from her own experience surviving a serious car accident at 17. Understanding how overwhelming life can feel after a traumatic event, she treats every client as though they are facing the hardest day of their lives.
Raised in Dardenne Prairie, Missouri, Addison attended the University of Kansas before earning her JD from UMKC School of Law. Now a Kansas City resident, she enjoys cheering on the Chiefs, though she remains a devoted St. Louis Cardinals and Blues fan. Outside of work, she loves reading, writing, attending concerts with her boyfriend, and spending time with her four pets.
