Case Summary:

Our client was stopped at a red light when he was rear-ended by another vehicle. At first glance, the crash didn’t seem serious. There was very little damage to the cars, and the police report did not note any injuries at the scene.

Soon after the crash, the insurance company offered him $600 in an effort to get his case resolved without a lawyer. About a month later, he was still dealing with ongoing shoulder pain that wasn’t going away, and that’s when he reached out to our firm for help.

After reviewing his case, we helped him get the medical care he truly needed, including shoulder surgery. Because he had not signed away his right to bring a claim, we were able to step in and take action on his behalf.

In the end, we successfully pursued fair compensation for what he went through, securing a $250,000 settlement. This case shows that even crashes with minimal damage can lead to serious injuries, and that it’s important not to assume an insurance company’s first offer is the best or final answer.
