DM Injury Law’s May 2025 Community Involvement Recap!

By

Our team at DM Injury Law had a very busy May! From end-of-the-year events with students across Kansas City to celebrating Cinco de Mayo with our community, we love spending time with you.

Take a look at some of our community involvement initiatives from May!

Queen for a Day

Queen for a Day is an evening for single mothers who are currently living with their families at Amethyst Place. This was our early Mother’s Day treat that included a fine dining experience, special gifts, and professional headshots to create a special evening of encouragement and care.

Cinco De Mayo Fiesta

Kansas City

The Cinco de Mayo Fiesta is the oldest celebration of its kind in the region. This cultural event was filled with attractions for all ages, great authentic food, live entertainment, local vendors, artists, a petting zoo, carnival rides, face painters, contests, raffles, and more!

Oklahoma City

DM Injury Law was excited to join in the fun at Oklahoma City’s Cinco de Mayo Celebration! Our team enjoyed the vibrant festivities, connected with the community, and gave away fun prizes at our booth.

Job One Cause-Ino Night

Job One has been a leader in providing employment opportunities and community services for individuals with disabilities. We are continually evolving to expand job opportunities and support individuals with disabilities in their pursuit of achieving new levels of personal success.

During Job One’s Cause-ino Night, we enjoyed Vegas-style fun and play with purpose to benefit the mission of Job One. The evening featured a buffet, bar, and entertainment, along with casino games, blackjack, mouse races, and more for a chance to win great prizes!

St. Louis Tornado Relief

DM Injury Law was honored to stand with Action St. Louis, For the Culture STL, and countless volunteers to provide real-time relief and demonstrate what’s possible when the community comes together in times of crisis.

In response to the devastating storms that recently impacted the St. Louis area, we worked alongside Action St. Louis and ForTheCultureSTL to support their grassroots relief initiative, the People’s Response Hub. This community-led effort was launched to meet the urgent needs of our neighbors facing displacement, damage, and disruption due to the tornadoes.

Our firm contributed by supplying tents, non-perishable food, hygiene products, and clear, durable bags to help neighbors who were adversely impacted by the tornado. Even more importantly, our entire office volunteered on-site, offering hands-on support, distributing supplies, and directly assisting those in need.

Career Exploration Day

DM Injury Law invited high school students across the Kansas City Metro to join us for an inspiring day of career exploration and entrepreneurship. Students were exposed to up to over 20 different speakers from various career fields, received professional headshots, and had the opportunity to win prizes through a chance of Bingo and DJ Says!
