A U.S. Postal Service worker was making a routine delivery when a dog suddenly jumped over a fence and charged toward him. Startled, he fell and suffered a serious wrist injury that eventually required surgery.
The insurance company initially offered $95,000 to settle the case and argued there were serious liability and coverage concerns.
