Have You Suffered as a Result of Taking OzempicĀ® for Weight Loss? You May Have a Right to File a Claim.

OzempicĀ® and other diabetes medications such as WegovyĀ®, SaxendaĀ®, and more have taken the weight loss world by storm. These doctor-prescribed solutions have become a popular household name and are widely used to help people lose weight quickly. However, the prolonged use of these medications can cause health complications and there has been evidence of serious gastrointestinal issues (GI) in patients.

If youā€™ve been prescribed OzempicĀ® or another brand name semaglutide for use as a weight loss treatment, you may be eligible for compensation. Reach out to our team for a free consultation on your case.

Why Is There a Lawsuit Against OzempicĀ®?

OzempicĀ® and other brand name semaglutides are FDA-approved treatments for patients with type 2 diabetes. These medications rose to notoriety because of their side effect of helping people lose weight. However, recent studies have shown that those who take high doses of the medication, use it for weight loss purposes, or are on it for a prolonged period of time may be at an increased risk of GI issues like stomach paralysis or bowel obstruction in addition to other health issues.

It has also been found that warning labels by the manufacturers have not adequately warned patients against these potential side effects and their severity.

Health complications are a life-altering matter and cause unimaginable financial, emotional, and physical hardships. We are on the side of victims seeking compensation for the loss of their quality of life and are committed to doing what we can to hold manufacturers accountable.

OzempicĀ® Side Effects

  • Bowel obstruction
  • Intestinal blockage
  • Deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
