Julie Hovermale joins the firm with over 25 years of experience handling workers’ compensation cases. Since 2016, she has proudly represented injured workers in both Illinois and Missouri. Her approach to practicing involves finding common ground with her clients and listening to their stories. She works patiently and empathetically, forming a bond that exemplifies her care with each case she takes on.
Julie’s defense background provides a unique perspective and gives her a competitive edge in her practice. Julie received her B.A. from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, and earned her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. She began her career as a staff attorney for the Chief Judge of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois.
Julie is originally from Granite City, Illinois, and currently resides with her four children in St. Louis, Missouri. In her spare time, she enjoys running and acting/singing/choreographing dance in local community theater productions.
