Growing up with two pastors for parents, Matt Sain’s childhood was grounded in helping others and advocating for those who were wronged. Matt earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, where he ran for State Representative while balancing his studies, family, and work obligations. He won the election to the Missouri General Assembly, and he was able to apply his legal knowledge to the law-making process.
During his time as a State Representative, Matt was able to witness how legislation is written, which has given him a fresh perspective and insight into their interpretation. Additionally, he learned that he was able to easily connect with whoever he told his story to, no matter how many times he told it. He applies this skill to his current practice as a trial attorney at DM Injury Law, approaching each case in a different way to give his clients the best possible chance at a successful resolution.
Matt is well aware that injuries can happen when a person least expects them, and is passionate about fighting for justice against the party that caused such harm.
Outside the courtroom, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, talking about ROTH IRAs, and mentioning the fact that he used to play video games competitively. He is a professional member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (KCMBA) and the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA). He grew up in the state of Missouri and is committed to uplifting the community, regularly volunteering at Harvesters food bank and other Northland facilities.
