June was a busy month for the DM Injury Law! This month involved sports, non-profits, pets, professional development, and so much more!
Take a look at just a few of our community involvement initiatives from June!

Comida KC
This unforgettable culinary event celebrated the vibrant flavors of Latin America, the Caribbean, Brazil, and Spain. Proceeds supported the educational and community programs of the Greater Kansas City Hispanic Collaborative (GKCHC), the nonprofit arm of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City.
Guests enjoyed an elegant evening filled with world-class cuisine, featuring appearances by visiting celebrity chefs, top local talent, renowned restaurateurs, and innovative mixologists. With past venues like the Nelson-Atkins Museum’s ornate Rozzelle Court and Union Station’s historic Grand Plaza, the atmosphere was every bit as captivating as the food.

KC Pet Project 5K
KC Pet Project operates the KC Campus for Animal Care, Kansas City, Missouri’s Animal Shelter. The organization cares for more than 15,000 animals a year and has 14 locations across Missouri and Kansas for pet adoptions. We joined KC Pet Project to compete in the KC Pet Project 5K, which took place in historic Swope Park.
Joe Pedrotti 3V3 Basketball Tournament
The Joseph Pedrotti Memorial Foundation strives to help others who embody the drive, compassion, and love of life that Joe possessed. It does so by supporting programs that engage students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
The foundation also focuses on educating others about shallow water blackout prevention and organ donation, while serving the greater community. All proceeds from this basketball tournament benefited the JMPF STEM Fund.

Habitat for Humanity St. Louis
DM Injury Law volunteered with the St. Louis City Habitat for Humanity ReStore. The ReStore is committed to environmental sustainability through the reuse and repurposing of donated goods. By diverting items from landfills, the ReStore plays a role in reducing environmental impact while supporting Habitat’s mission.
Our team helped organize the store, contributing to a more efficient shopping experience for the community. We are proud to support Habitat for Humanity and its efforts to build a stronger community one family at a time.
Action STL
DM Injury Law has proudly volunteered time and resources in support of Action STL People’s Response Hub to assist families across North St. Louis impacted by the recent tornado.
In addition to lending a helping hand, we offered critical support in the form of tents, reusable bags, and personal hygiene products. The recovery effort has reached thousands of individuals in need, offering food, supplies, and essential care.

New Dimensions
On a very warm Saturday, DM Injury Law had the pleasure of supporting New Dimensions, a well-established nonprofit in St. Louis City that uses the game of soccer to foster youth development, community connection, and social-emotional learning. The organization empowers young people, particularly in underserved communities, through creative play, leadership, and life skills that extend far beyond the soccer field.
